About Me

Hi, I'm Annemarie and I LOVE my work as a wedding photographer. Shooting weddings and spending time with people on the most special day in their lives is an honour and a privilege: I love creating beautiful albums, I love sharing my experiences with other wedding photographers and I love chatting with people who share my passion for pictures.
I specialise in shooting ‘country style’ weddings. I create simple, uncluttered images with a sense of light, colour, environment and emotion. My pictures show couples experiencing their wedding day with laughter and joy or, sometimes, maybe just a quiet, contemplative, romantic moment.
I love: country house weddings, village hall weddings, woodland weddings and teepee weddings out on the lawn. My brides are the kind of girls who decorate with beautiful vintage bunting and meadow flowers in jam jars with red gingham ribbon.
Influenced by the English countryside and the ever changing seasons, I love to show the unique environment of the wedding and the couple within.
My studio, run in an eco friendly way, is based in the pretty village of Bishopthorpe, York. I offer fine art wedding albums, eco canvas, handmade natural cotton album bags and bamboo boxes. Please call for an appointment.

The Studio
In 2009 we converted a small cowshed building into a boutique photography studio. Why boutique? Well, we are small, specialist and exclusive to shooting the most beautiful weddings. Creating a fun and enjoyable and professional photography experience to brides all over York, Harrogate and Leeds areas.
